About.

Established in 2018, Will Gamble Architects is an award winning, design-led architecture and interiors practice based in Barnes, London.

The studio specialises in house making, creating finely crafted bespoke residential projects. The practice’s portfolio of work extends throughout London and the UK.

As a practice Will Gamble Architects works collaboratively with its clients and skilled craftsman to deliver high quality architecture and interiors that is well considered, contemporary in design and rich in materiality.

The practice has a particular interest in working with existing structures by creating contemporary architecture and interiors that enhance our historic environment. It has a strong belief in the sensitive re-use of our heritage assets through well conceived interventions that are both culturally and environmentally sustainable.

Will Gamble Architects continues to build a reputation for producing finely crafted buildings and has been awarded a prestigious RIBA National Award as well as a RIBA Conservation Award and a RIBA Small Project of the Year Award. The practice has also been shortlisted for the Stephen Lawrence Prize and it was longlisted for RIBA House of the Year, featuring on Channel 4’s television series, Grand Designs - RIBA House of the Year 2022.

Will Gamble | Director.

Will studied his undergraduate at Newcastle University and his masters at Oxford Brookes University.

In 2012 he joined the internationally renowned architectural practice Farrells where he worked on a number of high profile projects throughout the UK and further afield.

In 2014, he joined Francis Philips Architects and subsequently became a Director, before establishing Will Gamble Architects in 2018.

Will has a particular interest in sensitively retrofitting historic buildings through contemporary architecture.

Miles Kelsey | Associate.

Miles studied his bachelor’s degree at Nottingham Trent University.

Following his graduation in 2014 he worked as an Urban Designer in Bristol and an Architectural Assistant in Nottingham.

He went onto study his master’s degree at the University of Edinburgh, graduating in 2018 before joining Will Gamble Architects later that year.

Miles has a keen interest in taking design inspiration from the surrounding environment to help create places that are contextual, thoughtful and well considered.

Erin Edmondson | Architect.

Erin studied her undergraduate at Sheffield Hallam University and her masters at Manchester School of Architecture, winning the Heywood medal & the AHR Memorial Award.

Following graduation Erin worked in York and Manchester assisting in heritage consultancy and as an architectural assistant before joining Will Gamble Architects in 2020.

Erin has a keen interest in sketching and the adaptive re-use of listed buildings.
